Since it's inception, the Mike Risko Music School has been giving students the opportunity to play in bands. Whether it is a jazz band, rock band or a classical quartet, the goal is to put musicians of similar ages and levels together to make music. Then, give them the opportunity to play a gig of their own.
Group classes and workshops enable students to learn to interact with other students while increasing self confidence. These classes give students the opportunity to perform on a regular basis in a relaxed and informal setting. They are a great way to use what you are learning in your lessons as well as the chance to socialize. Students can choose from classes like Rock Band Workshop, Jazz Band Workshop, Vocal Performance Workshop, Classical Workshop and more. Classes are available for all ages, including adults. Some classes are offered each session while others are offered as a one-time workshop.
