Designing a pedalboard is so much fun however sifting through the tremendous array of pedals available can be a bit overwhelming.
Understanding the function of different categories of pedals is a good place to start.
First find a good pedalboard to fit your needs. Think about how many pedals you are going to use and the sizes of the pedals. Make sure they will fit in/on your board. Do you want your pedalboard to have a power supply included. Is the pedal board easy to carry, and will it fit on the floor of the venues you are playing at.
